Hi!
I am looking for cheap and easy recipies for one or two. I have been to the food network and Kraft kitchens, so anything else will help. I am getting tired of pasta and rice every day.

These are Betty Crocker Cookbook recipes for two. Any of the past or present cookbooks for two put out by B. C. are good.

I have a very simple side dish to go with your main course that you can make in about 20-30 minutes and is not really that bad for you. Concord Foods puts out a seasoning packet for roasted potatoes and I use this, but you can use your favorite steak seasoning or dry ranch dressing mix, plain garlic powder, whatever. You take roughly 3-4 medium-sized potatoes and wash them, removing any bad spots as well. Cut the potatoes in half. Take each half and cut in half again, then cut to make triangle-shaped pieces. Take the potatoe pieces and put them into a bowl with a lid or a ziploc bag with about 1 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil, more if needed. Add in your seasoning and shake the bag until the potatoes are covered with oil and seasoning. Bake in a 400 degree oven until done, time varies on thickness of pieces. A good variation to this is to add onion wedges and add to the bag with the potatoes. Bake as above. This is a fast and easy (not to mention delicious!) side dish for just about any meal.

Another site you can check out is Campbells. They have a lot of recipe ideas that are usually pretty quick and easy to make. I make the chicken and broccoli alfredo and rarely have any left over. Lipton has some recipes out there too that may be useful. I hope that I have helped you some.

Soups are always cheap and easy. you can put pretty much anything in them add water, season and boil. Burritos are cheap too. Both of these are good to use left overs in too.
