Sweetie, this is quite common, each day it will get a little smaller. No need to rub it, just leave it alone. As long as she is eating as normal, acting as normal, no vomiting, no diarrhea, no swelling, and no fever... nothing to worry about.

Actually it is quite normal for that to happen. Its not an allergic reaction or anything, those are far more serious. When the vet administers the vaccine in the leg (which is probably where your pup had theirs done) and doesn't rub the area afterward, the vaccine makes a bump there. Its not a bad thing, but what you need to do is just rub the area fairly vigorously a couple times a day.... But you'll probably notice after the first time or two the bump will go away. Don't worry about it, he'll be fine.

It can cause a lump at the site of the shot sometimes if it does not go away in a few days call your vet if it seems to be swelling in the face or acting sick take it to a vet now some dogs will have a reaction to the shot

It's pretty common to happen at the injection site. My vet told me to massage it daily and to give them a call if the bump hasn't completely disappeared within a week. He also said that if the bump seemed to cause pain or discomfort, to call them because the bump was normal, but not any pain associated with the bump.

It is possible it's a reaction to the injection. Did the vet give you things to look for after a vaccination? If not they should have.
If it isn't gone by tomorrow, call the vet and ask if they should see your dog again.
I have heard of this happening, but it has usually gone away by the next day.

the last time we took our puppies in to the vet for shots, one of them (they're american bulldogs) had an allergic reaction, and swelled up and stuff all over, he looked like a shar pei, lol. but he still has a lump and we went back into the vets office and they said it was fine, and it should go away in about a month. they also told us that the next time, before he comes in before a vaccination, to give him some benadryl to reduce the reaction.

Yes, several times ... usually when I don't get a chance to massage the spot at time of vacinnation (some of my dogs/puppies have been very wiggly and don't really want to hang around for me to keep rubbing the site of injection). It'll go away. Are you requesting mercury free vacinnations from your vet? Vets are always happy to order them if you just ask.

Yes. A reaction to a vaccination is not unusual. Call your vets office to report it, though, in case it is not normal for the injection your dog received.

opportunities are high this is, often a concern like a tumor or an unusual growth isn't on the two facets, fairly interior a similar spot, save an eye fixed on them tho, yet its in all probability merely muscle or a bone
