What is the difference between a blue screen and green screen? if i want software and the screen for under 100 dollars what should i do

Blue and green, both do the same function. the one to use depends on what colors are on your foreground subject. green generally works better for people, blue for objects.

The screen is simple just put some paint on the wall, or buy kingsize colored sheets. in the "old" days the color shade was critical and had to match the filters in the camera, but modern equipment lets you dial in the hue as needed. The green is usually a "leaf" or "hunter" green. The blue is usually a "cyan" or "sky". Try to get the lighting as even as possible, top to bottom and side to side.

you are working with 2 video sources, the background and the foreground (which is green screen). if you have a "switcher", you can do this in real time, that's how the TV news weather is done. or you can use a computer editor, most programs have this capability. I use "vegas movie studio" which is only a little more than the $100.
