I'm not talking about when somebody punches you in the eye
Just black in the iris, not just really dark?
My mom said that she saw a person with black eyes.
She swears, and Im like.. yeah I doubt that.. unless your possesed, you won't have black eyes
But do you know?

they look black , but when you examine the eye with our microscopes you see it's a dark brown

I was born with black eyes, but later they lightened into a dark blue. Sometimes people still mistake them for black though.
And they really were black, even when a light was shinning in them people still couldn't tell where the iris and pupil met.

I have actually been told numerous times that my eyes look black but in fact they are a really really dark brown. My husband and daughter's eyes are that dark too.

I never met him because he died years before I was born but my mother told me that her father had this eye color. He came from Belgium and apparently, a lot of people there have this eye color as a result of the Moorish influence there centuries ago. She said that his eyes were so dark that you couldn't see the pupils and the women loved it when he looked at them. That was because he could make it so that it looked like his eyes were melting and it seemed romantic to them. My mother didn't inherit that color, though. Her eyes were blue-gray.

I have black eyes. They are not dark brown they are truly black. You can not tell the pupil from the iris. I am not possessed. My great-grandmother and my grandfather also had black eyes. My mother says it is because of our Native American heritage.

In Tampa Florida on NBC news we have a female news anchor that has, what truly appears to be black irises they are like deep black marbles. A really amazing look.

i'm pretty sure when i was in grade school my eyes were so dark they were black. now the're a light brown. i think it is possible. any eye colour is!

i dont think they can be truely black, maybe just very dark brown
