I bought a Teddy Bear for £10, named it Muhammed, sold it for £20, was that a prophet?

not my joke, someone else asked that question on here.

Seriously Sudan has gotten itself a terrible reputation for this act, and albeit a few of it's people called for her death, does not show Muslims to be bad people, because neither the government or those people are true Muslims, the Koran is a peaceful book.

Hmmm... some good factors right here. i'm a Mormon, and we've our very own prophet, too. Frankly, i could be satisfied for every person to call a teddy undergo Joseph Smith, the two as a shaggy dog tale or no longer. yet whilst somebody named their teddy undergo Jesus Christ i could experience that something sacred were made relaxing of. i think of that's the factor. Muslims of course carry Mohammed's call as sacred, as they continually say PBUH (peace be upon him) whilst they state his call. for this reason, a desecration of the sacred... that's comprehensible to me that some could locate this insulting. in spite of the undeniable fact that, i think of the intentions of the instructor and scholars could honestly have a bearing upon the judgment. it variety of feels somewhat severe to deport her. i think of the 15 days in detention center could honestly serve to show her, the scholars and the inhabitants the seriousness of desecrating a sacred call. EDIT: 15 days in the relative luxury of a Western detention center does no longer be so harsh a ingredient... yet honestly she does not deserve lashes or demise! the place is the mercy in that? yet what are the actual info? All you have given us is a tiny snippet of a information article... no longer lots to make an precise assessment on (so i'm no longer taking my very own assessment all that heavily, ATM).

and didnt you read or listen that if it was not for the 2 muslims she wouldnt have been freed

you always look at the negative points but you people dont appreciate good things done with you

it was Lord ahmed and the other muslim lady from the conservative party who freed her and without them she would have been in prison.

i find it so bad that she was jailed for innocent mistake but talking about all muslims for a mistake of one is more disgraceful becuase it show the narrow mind ppl have

I'm hoping that the exposure the whole incident received is just a beginning to stopping further atrocities; if the woman who was raped gets lots of worldwide publicity perhaps she will be pardoned as well, and then maybe the next time the woman won't be prosecuted at all...

Thank you for asking the question to us. InshaAllah (God Willing)
I will do our best to answer you.

Let me first give you some incidents from the life of our beloved
Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and after that we can discuss.

Anas ibn Malik reports: God's messenger was sitting in the
mosque with some of his companions when a Bedouin urinated
inside the mosque. The Prophet's companions said:
What is going on? What are you doing? The Prophet said
to them: Do not interrupt him. He subsequently called the
man and said to him: These mosques are not the place where
one can throw any dirt, urine or stools. They are meant for reciting
the Quran, glorifying God and prayer. He then called for a bucket
of water and he poured it over the urine.
(Related by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Al-Nassaie, Malik and Ahmad).

It is reported that a woman who would regularly throw trash
on the prophet as he walked down a particular path. The
prophet never responded in kind to the woman's abuse.
Instead, when she one day failed to attack him, he went to
her home to inquire about her condition.

Now after reading this please let me know what would
the Prophets reaction be on that incident which happen
in Sudan. I hope to hear from you soon.

People the lady was pardoned and has returned to her home in England. She broke the rules of the country that she was in and by their standards got off extremely mild. If we live in another culture it's our responsibility to know their rules and abide by them, if we don't we have to face the consequences. The woman has said that she holds no hard feelings and should known or found out the religious restrictions on naming things after Muhammad before she allowed it. She feels no ill will, so why should we?
when she returned to Britain local Muslims brought her a bouquet of flowers and wished her well.

What would happen is those Muslims gave up their benefits etc., in this country, could we give them a lashing and tell them to go back to the Sudan.

Thank God (my God is a gentle, humorous, wise, person) we do not do things like that to all immigrants. Stopping their dole would soon get rid of them or denyng them free this and that. We PAY FOR IT. Would they get stoned her for adultery. The effing world is mad, mad, and getting madder.
And, what did we do to the poor naive teacher = leave her to rot for a few days. And it is not funny how people differ its obscene.
