i am over my shyness in certain things but just no sex... i have always tried to push my self but it never happesn... i did lose my virginity to him though.. but i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

Yeah, after 4 1/2years & apparently a lot of sexual experience with him, he should be the #1 person you're comfortable with.
Also, he's a dude. I bet if you just started kissing him passionately or rub his thigh while you're watching TV, he'll get turned on and things will move.
No guy would say no to sex, so you shouldn't be worried (which is what shy is).
If you are really THAT shy, you might need some anxiety pills or something....

You need to realize that there is nothing sexier than having the woman you love come on to you. You know what he likes, so the next time he is sitting on the couch beside you, follow your own advice and just do it. With 4.5 years behind you, he will never think you are being inappropriate -- it's not like this is your first date ... just lead with confidence and he will follow you anywhere.
