I would do a layer of light/loose curls on top, with your hair left straight underneath. It would help to frame the little headband, letting it sparkle through the curled texture, but without being slick. Straight hair would say "hey look at my fancy diamond headband", you know? It's best to dress down these sparkly accessories, so doing some loose wavy curls randomly on the topmost layer of hair would work well, add some volume, and make your hair seem elegant yet not overdone.

I think a beautiful idea would be wear the diamond headband and tie back your hair in a scrunched bun. Then pull out "whispies" from right in front of your ears and either scrunch them, or curl them with a small curling iron.

At formal events I tend to find a french twist to be elegant and classy. Old school cosmetology, pin curls and fingerwaves work well. If you need help, call around for stylists and ask specifically if they can do it before sitting in their chair.
I like curls but I think sleek lines work the best
Good luck...

I think you should wear it straight and pin back one side without the headband. Maybe you can use a small rhinestone clip instead??? (I have a short bob as well and am not diggin' the headband look with it.)

nothing huge, the headband should be the main point. go for curls.... like tiny skinny ones, if u hair is short. its its long then go for a up-do with curls, big thick ones, but only a few. like on the side

You should definitely have long curls and apply the diamond headband. I'm sure you'll look formal enough in it. Good luck! ;)

i think of a alluring concept could be positioned on the diamond headscarf and tie lower back your hair in a scrunched bun. Then pull out "whispies" from authentic in front of your ears and the two scrunch them, or curl them with a small curling iron.

Feathers cover a multitude of sins, sorry I meant a beautiful mane. Diamond bands don't stay on much to my regret.
