There was a show when i was younger, for kids i think, that had a guy who went to a different dimmension or something. but they had suits there, a vest like thing maybe and wrist things on. and they had to like hit their wrists together and then they could like shoot something. i dont know i might be imagining things but if anyone knows what i'm talking about that would be awsome.

Are you thinking of Sliders? It's with Jerry O'Connell and I think it can be seen on the Sci-Fi channel.. but I'm not sure- it's been a while.

check on imdb.com for keywords on your search. you may be able to pull it up.

"Captain Power and the Dimension of Power" (complete title) aired in 1989-90 and was meant to be used with Mattel's Lazer Tag-style toy line (spacecraft and parts of various characters' clothing would have TV interference-like areas where viewers would shoot at to score points while watching the show.

The howling by parents' groups over the whole thing and the novelty factor of it (plus mediocre ratings) ensured that it lasted only one season.
