Okay, this has been asked before but I'm gonna ask again. Is drinking coffee regularly/daily (and sometimes twice a day) bad for you?
I've gotten into a habit of drinking it these days since it's cold weather.

If it IS bad then why so? Details, please? And is it fattening?

So, if I don't find Decaf. And have to drink the same coffee as I do now(Coffee+Creamer+Sugar), how many times a week should I drink it or what is best?

So here are the "downs" of drinking too much coffee.

Coffee is packed with caffeine. Caffeine helps curbs headaches away. (Notice on Excederin, caffeine is one of the three main ingredients.) So if you drink a cup of coffee everyday, and suddenly stop drinking it, you will get a headache because your body is so used to this constant level of caffeine, and all of a sudden, there is none.

As for caffeine, too much can be bad for your heart. Too much caffeine can make your heart beat pound faster. I'm talking maybe 4 or more a day.

As for whether it's fattening or not, it depends what you're putting in it. Creme is really fattening. Sugar also has many calories. You can always use low fat milk, and splenda as a substitute, but of course, that'll alter the taste of your coffee.

Bad? Yes. Caffiene is not good for you. (It doesn't make celulite like someone says. Cellulite is genetic.) The calorie packed cream and sugar is not good for you. It's empty or worthless calories. Coffee is also very acidic which can cause ulcers if you drink a lot. Not fun. If you do need a pick-me-up drink, green tea is the best way to go.

people will say that it is but I don't believe them, reasearch shows only positive effects, think about it, it's technically the same thing as tea.

I think what you should watch is the cream/sugar, the ammount of cream most people put in their coffee (about a 1/30 ratio for me) isn't going to do anything.

Also if you office provides those little single surving things of cream that you can leave out don't use them. They have saturated fat in them, whereas the stuff you can buy and refrigirate normally doesn't, that's what I use.

its not fattening, it doesnt have nothing really in it. but the stuff you add in it like milk, sugar, and all that good stuff is what makes it fattening.
well it is bad for you, it gives you all this energy, but it also rots your stomach and can cause serious health problems.
just try to keep it under control!

its not good, try switching to decaf. you just need it for the cold right? then decaf gives the exact same taste, and it isnt bad!
