OMG Im so glad Im not the only one who has noticed this!!!! It just annoys me to no end... one of the worst is Giada....she talks with her mouth so packed full and it really grosses me out!!!!

They have to talk with their mouth's full, as there would be "dead air" if they were just to sit there and chew the food that they just made, but you do have a point......Even though I love her recipes, I think the worst expression is Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) when she tastes her food she scowls.....and some of the chefs DO take way too big a bite of the food and then try and talk........Enjoy!!!

You know I use to punish my kids for doing that when they were younger, I think its discusting, but its not only the chef's, the commertials on TV, have people talking with their mouths full, & a whole lot of other unmannerly things, & they wonder why the young people of today have no manners???

Dang. I'm the only one who doesn't care. Hm. Maybe, seriously, I'm a pig or something, but it's food. People smack their mouths, they make gestures and noises and carry on. I never thought about or cared much. I still don't. But maybe someone can add WHY it's so bad. Sorry.
