personally, my experience is that both answers are generally given by people who are simply unable to vocalize a more helpful answer.

The Bible was a compilation of stories to help people make decisions thousands of years ago . They did not know what questions we would have today , or how situations today would invalidate many things they wrote about back then .
Use your brain and your respect for others to determine what is right and wrong . Not the writings of superstious people who lived in a desert .

Anything that is within the reach of human intellect, should be sought after and should be learned.

Things that our brain cannot comprehend, are higher than the level of human intellingence.

We should leave them there, because our efforts for acquiring an answer will be all useless.

Some faiths are called blind - because they shut the door to all what our God-given intellect Can analyse and resolve.

not everything is explain in the bible...if it was life would be pretty dull...you have to remember that the bible had over 32 authors contributing to it,so theres alot of good and not so good information.....they say it not for us to understand because they dont want us to ask about it...cause there are no answer....and no one wants to question thier religion....lol......i just came to the conclusion that its all theroy....and that god is an indivual journey.......and if im wrong,...do i really deserve to go to hell?....you'll only get more questions before you'll get answers

In a nut shell, I believe what is in my heart. One time I read a passage in the lost sea scrolls, I guess the Catholics do not approve of them but they are said to be written by Jesus himself. It said something like you can find Jesus anywhere..even under a rock. I know someone will make fun of that one but..It says you basically can have a relationship with Jesus without having church involved. I don't have a problem with believing the bible I have a problem with everyone saying their version is correct. Follow your heart! Believe what feels right to you!

Most of us have the Bile in very high regard. But we can't expect that everything is written there. No book can contain God, as if he were a genie in a bottle.

The short version: The bible was made by men who wanted to control people. It is a bunch of stories put together. It shouldn't have any actual signifigance in your life.

The problem here is that the people that you are looking to for answers don't really know the answers themselves. I personally don't believe in anything that I can't detect with the five senses.
