he always complains about the smell or the taste. I've been told that showering can help that but we tried it and he still said it was funky.
what can i do to make it less funky?

Introduce him to sushi, he prob. doesn't like that either but after a while it will grow on him. Also, if he doesnt improve, dump him and find a man that knows how to and enjoys pleasing his woman. Dont put up with that sorry douchebag!

I agree with most of the guys in here. It's him. Personally, I think most douches taste funky. I like natural hair, tell him when he shaves his balls you'll trim your hair.
If you shower once a day it should be fine.
Yeast infection? You will itch and know it. Ph inbalance, possibly, but a gyn exam will easily check for that-as well as any other possibilities.
I think it's him, and he will never go down on you.

Good, Lord people are rude. Anyway, yea staying clean is important, but you can also over do that too...ever TASTE soap?...yuck. Try goin' down on each other IN the shower...it will provide a nice distraction. Anyway, he may be having a rough time because of a bad previous experience, misconceptions based on what society tells him...etc.

Eat right.....mostly the smell because of your diet combined with other factors.....if you did shower, and he said it still tasted funky....maybe hes just gay..lol...no seriously, get it checked just to make sure there are no infections.....

Well if you actively shower and it still is "funky" you may want to get tested for an infection or a STD, both of which can cause vaginal odor.

seriously, you should just dump this guy. any guy who used that excuse is a selfish bast***. and if you think your private's really smell, try this:
wash ur privates regularly.
use an unscented panty liner (scented ones actually enhance the funky smell)
carry with you an extra pair of undies in case your natural fluids stain the ones you're wearing.

That's just the natural smell of a female's genitals. There isn't much you can do about it and it most likely isn't going away anytime soon. He should get used to it over time and possibly even learn to like it.

If you're showering right before, I'm not buying that its that funky. I think he just doesn't like it and hes not saying.
But you can have your Doctor check for an infection too. Might be that.

get some of them vagisil wipes and take showers using a shower pic so you can squirt it up there to get it really clean. then once a while use a douche. but when you are alone with him go to the bathroom and freshen up by using a wipe. carry them in your purse they come in individually packed packaging. not very exspensive at all. try shaving your down below area also. having a bush only makes you sweat and that can be nasty. so keep shaven.
