Biting your tongue when you'd rather bite off someone's head.
Being kind to a person who seldom is.
Smiling to the person wearing a frown.
Helping someone carrying a heavy load- whether physically or emotionally.
Sharing truths from the Bible with complete strangers.

When we have a good attitude, it's often rubbed off on those around us. And when we behave like a true friend, we'll find the same.
As for sharing the Bible- it's the most compassionate thing a person can do in imitation of Jesus Christ- it means everlasting life.

we recycle as much as possible - it reduces waste that goes into the landfill, provides resources for new products and saves natural resources - saving plants and trees.

I donate my time to Toys for Tots - we collect toys and distribute them to needy kids in the area who otherwise might not have toys for the holiday season

I am part of a burial detail who provides military honors to local veterans who have died. There might not be military honors for them (all the local reserve units have been deployed) - the families are very grateful that someone remembers and honors the service of their loved ones.

We donate time to the church of my cousin over Thanksgiving in helping feed the homeless and poor in his area.

We donate to animal charities to help spay and neuter dogs and cats to reduce the population that would end up being abused, homeless or destroyed.

Family and Kindred members go to a local women's prison once a month and conduct religious lessons and rituals for Heathen prisoners. There aren't a lot of outreach efforts for Heathens (and few for pagans/Wiccans)
