Dose any one know when Fort Hood is going to issue its block leave passes?

A soldier can request leave any time he/she wants. It doesn't mean that they are going to get it. Most units are still going to need a certain percentage of people to stay back during the holidays, so if your soldier has not put in for leave yet they may be out of luck. Sorry.

Usually block leave is done by units, not by instalation. It will vary by the different battalions and brigades at Ft. Hood.

they keep changing it but...my brother got his assigned to where he can leave on the 20th and they are going back on the 3rd...
