... Did it seem like to you that Clint Bowyer just didn't believe in himself enough in 2007? Will this year be an eye opener for him in 2008 to be a little more aggressive?

I think he believed in himself but he was running up against 2 far more experienced drivers and just didn't have what it took. have to give him credit for coming in 3rd. I think THAT boosted his self confidence

I really like Bowyer, and I agree that he didn't seem to have confidence in himself this year. I hope that changes in 2008.
Besides, who else finished a race upside down and on fire?!? :)

One thing for sure, making the chase and winning his first race has to be a major boost of confidence for 2008..I think the JD #07 will see more of victory lane in 2008..

I dont think so, he had a golden opportunity and sputtered in mediocrity the rest of the way, hes not got the heart of a champion I like the guy dont get me wrong, but hes 28 years old if that confidence and hungriness isnt their know itll never be their.

I think he did extremely well as a 2nd year driver although he admitted Nervousness. He should be more relaxed next year and have more confidence and do better in 2008!!!!

I just hope his success doesn't bite him next year like it has others. Some examples of years past Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Dale Jr., Jamie McMurray.

Yea he won a race in only his 2nd full season. Think about it if u had as much sucess as he had this year in only ur 2nd year of racing don't u think u would have some confidence going into the next year.
