Well my aunt [[from my dads side]] gave me this drink its 15 mL
lemon juice && 15 mL maple syrup and pour it in a 500 mL water bottle [[regular size]] and to drink 2 of these bottles everyday and it's supposed to burn fat or make me lose weight, I don't know exactly and I'm supposed to eat 2 or 3 times a day. My other aunt is a pediatrician and said that the lemon juice has food acid [[i knew this]] and it could do damage to my stomach and my stomach will hurt a lot. Now I know this drink works because today is Tuesday and I started on Saturday and I already lost 3 lbs! My stomach kind of hurts a little I have to admit. My questions is can anyone find out if this drink could be dangerous, even if its 15 mL? Research!!! [[because i have too much homework and im not a good researcher]] please send me the website and what it says!! Thankyouuuuuuuu = )

It's actually called a Master Cleanse and it cleans out your system and since you are only drinking liquid that is why you lose weight. But you are missing cayenne pepper from your recipe. You need to add that too.

You can look it up on wikipedia.

Also, in response to the person above me, this really does work. You need to make sure you get Grade B maple syrup from a health food store and cayenne pepper because those replace any nutrients you've lost from not eating. The first couple days are complete hell, but after that your energy levels are higher and you feel great. Plus you have lost weight.

I've never heard of this nor have I tried it, but why can't you just drink 16 ozs of water to 1tbsp of apple cider viniger. It does the same thing and it dosen't eat up your stomach like that. I mean you are supposed to drink so much water a day and you only have to do the viniger every other day to once a week. You can do it every morning with no side effects. It just cleanses the toxins from your system and helps your body strip itself of fat cells without have to replace nutrients.
Honestly I have found eating a healthy diet, limiting sodas and other junk food, and walking an hour a day does way more for you not only emotionally, but also physically too.
Honestly I haven't checked out the website, I'm just winding down before going to bed here, I'm up at 4 in the morning, I would listen to the aunt that practices medicine for a living. Its a safer bet in the long run.

WOW.
this is stupid, any weight loss you've had is purely because of your state of mind. I don't know how you choked that stuff down. I wouldn't worry about the lemon juice, you should be able to handle it.

But 4 real, stop drinking this, get on a real diet and go to the gym.
