Only the higher-ranking one will get the "with dependent" rate. Sorry - wish they both could! :)

No, they both do not get BAH with the dependant rate.
They also will not get one with dependant rate and one single BAH.
They have a special BAH rate, for those supporting children who live with an ex spouse.

No, they will not...at a previous base, we had a AF E-7 married to an Army E-7 stationed at a nearby Army post...they both claimed dependent rate but had to pay back the $6K that they were not entitled to. The higher ranking person normally collects the dep rate, but its not a given.

When you get stationed at your first duty station, you will both receive single rate BAH because there are no children involved. Once you guys have children one will receive married with dep/rate and the other will receive single. And it doesnt have to be the senior ranking one that receives with dependent rate because I outrank my hubby and he gets the with dependent rate and I still get the single one. Good luck!

yes, both of them can receive BAH...they need to fill out and turn in the proper form for the air force (army myself) and the one paying child support will have to provide documentation...hope this helps

Yes. Both are eligable for the same benifts. The government doesnt just give them to one parent, both will get the ammount they should, although this ammount may differ based on rank and location of unit.
