It has a sweet taste to it. I love this whiskey, but it is as low carb as say Jack Daniels or Crown Royal?

There is sugar in all alcohol. Wether it is distilled, wine or beer.

Whiskey is made from a brew of malt, which contains a sugar called maltose. However, they do not add sugar to whiskey. They are not allowed.

Some makers will add spirit caramel (in very small amounts) to a whiskey - this is to darken the colour, to give a brand consistency from batch to batch.

There is no sugar added to the whisky if that's what you are asking. The slight sweetness comes from the malt and is present in all whiskies in varying amounts and may sometimes be masked by a whisky's smokiness or oak taste.
