And if so would his presence in the V8 Supercars boost the Aussie sport world wide?
If no opinion then what is the formula for converting horsepower to kangaroo power? ...2 to 1 or 3 to 1?

I think he will, but after he feels that he has done what he can do in NASCAR. He did like road racing until his accident in the ALMS series in California a few years ago, the one where the Corvette caught on fire.
And , yes, I think it will boost the sport if he goes.

It'd be awesome if Dale Jr raced in V8s. At the V8 Grand Finale, Jr said he'll drive his a** off in NASCAR Cup until he's done and dusted, and if anyone wants to hire him, he'll come race down under.
I'd like 2 see Jr drive for HRT in V8s. It'd suit his personality. Dale Earnhardt Jr for NASCAR Sprint Cup champ in 2008!

I think it would be pretty good for him to try a few races. I think once again until the good ole USA gets a good race channel great series like the V8 supercars don't have a chance here in the states. To many people here with blinders on. To many people think reality shows on our only race channel is what racing is suppose to be in the evening or something.

It is a possibility. Jr is good at changing his mind, and that's a good thing it shows growth. By the time he "retires" from NASCAR as a driver who knows how big his race team will be. He also said a few years ago the he was gonna retire at age 40. I believe he says things with the intention of seeing them through at the time he says them, but wisdom may change his mind. He may only run a few races, not be full time job.

He said when he is finished with nascar it would be cool to run these cars, I'm sure he would boost the sport big time. He's not done with Nascar yet still has a lot of unfinished business like win some more races and a championship or two..

It would definately boost the Aussie rating. But can the owners and sponsers down under afford it? If he left Nascar before his time-- His American Fans would Squeal like a Smashed Cat!!!!!

i say "bring it on" jnr! if you think your good enough then good luck to ya..............by the way our V8's go a hell of a lot faster than a bloody roo does....

that would great way to kill time in the off season. if it's true, then do expect him to stay in Stock cars in the USA unless one of the IRL teams wants to lure him in to open wheel auto racing so he can win the Indy 500, it would be a great auto racing story.
