Raw eggs are great for dogs. They are even better if you include the shell, the shell is loaded with calcium. My own dogs get raw eggs a few times every week. While they can cause biotin deficiency, your dog would have to consume ridiculous amounts of raw egg in a day for that to happen. A raw egg or two 2 or 3 times a week is nothing to worry about.

What type of dog food do you feed your dog? If you get a premium grade dog food like Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix, it supplies 6 meats & Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids that help keep your pets coat/skin healthy.

You can suppliment with a weekly raw egg mixed in their dog food, or you can also add a can of Tuna in oil. I don't use Tuna since it's high in Mercury, but I do use canned Salmon.

Since protein makes up 2/3 of a dog's coat - adding a raw egg to his regular meal will make his skin and coat healthier and shinier.

yep, raw egg is great, shell and all. Mine love eggs, get them several times a week.
So is salmon oil, you can get in a pump bottle, and give a squirt in his food a few times a week.
ADD: "Only a proper diet and proper grooming will improve a dog's coat. Egg won't."
Egg IS proper diet, as is raw meat, bones and organs....not that crap in a bag!

My Lab gets a raw egg mixed in with his dry food (Canidae All Life Stages) and his fur looks terrific- very shiny and soft. He gets 1 egg every 2-3 days or so. He loves it :)

Adding a raw egg will keep their skin and coat looking nice and shiny, however, you shouldn't give him a raw egg everyday. Just every once in a while.

I have given my lab a raw egg mixed with her food a few times and it always makes her vomit. She's fine with cooked eggs though.

If your dog gets a high quality diet otherwise, I really doubt raw egg would work. I would try coat conditioners.

Ya, it totally works. We give our german shepard one a couple times a week and he loves it! His coat looks great and he's getting extra protein at the same time!
