I'm just wondering.

Your body needs calories for you to grow. If you are anorexic, your body doesn't have the calories and nutrients for your body to grow. It diverts all energy to keeping you alive (ie vital organs). That's the reason why most women don't have periods while anorexic.

ok. when you have an eating disorder, you're not eating enough food. your body gets totally confused and doesn't know what to do and then when you try to stop, your stomach just throws up by itself and it's horrible and don't ever try it. anyway, your growth is stunted 'cause you're not getting the nourishment that you need. at all. but that only happens when you're still growing, so i suppose the best time to have an eating disorder is when you're fully grown except there is no best time to have an eating disorder so yea....

Well yeah they stunt your growth, you arent getting the vitamins and nutrients that your body needs to grow. You also start to loose your hair. Not a pretty thing.

Yes you stunt your growth. You aren't getting any vitamins and minerals from food.

Because your body is denied the nutrition it needs to properly develop so you end up not growing as you should.
Its like if you don't water a plant it dies.

anorexia causes malnutrition, no nourishment, no growth and eventually death.
