Because some comments are meant to offend. Like calling us dellusional, idiots, hateful, wanting to see all Christians dead, likening us to Hitler. Can't imagine why some stupid Christians get offended.

I don't get "religiously" offended. I am offended when I am called an idiot, a retard, and an evil person because I believe in and love Jesus.
Gosh, have you never heard that the most disagreements are over religion and politics? I thought everyone knew that.
Unless, of course, you're a child.

We are all trying to hard! Do your duty, but no more. The battle is the Lord's.
He needs us to relax, obey and trust Him that everything will work out. Even if we seemed to fail. Only God knows the hearts of men.
We see no evidence, when the sap is rising within the tree, until suddenly it buds. Human hearts can be like that too. For us, only time will tell.
When folks try too hard, people see desperation in our eyes (or our words) and will NOT trust you! So we need to "Chill"!
That is true in asking for a date (you don't go for a guy who seems desperate), right?
Likewise trying to make a sale in a store (if the sales person seems desperate, you become reluctant to buy), perhaps they are desperate because there is some reason to not buy, they are afraid yu will think of...or perhaps they are SO desperate that they are lying to you.
Even here at "Y!A" in this R&S forum, we make fools of ourselves when we are trying (perhaps too hard often) to influence others.
The Bible says "Don't treat my word like cheap cloth".
I have heard it preached that the meaning of that verse is DON'T EXAGERTE. Adding to the Word of God is wrong, perhaps as bad as subtracting (example: hell).
God often has a double meaning. I think it also means DON'T OVERSELL CHRISTIANITY. It's like the song, "I never promised you a rose garden".
The bible says, "Some one plants a seed. Perhaps another one waters it. Maybe a third person harvests those souls years from now."
Perhapps you planted well, or watered a seed, although you seemed to have accomplished nothing. Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy!!!

Rae, SOME folks would get offended by solid gold turds all over the floor. They'd be offended that they actually had to pick them UP to spend them. Some folks just LOVE to complain about everything.
