Yes, just make sure the eggshell look clean and the eggs are relatively fresh.

Yes, you would have to be pretty unlucky to be the person who gets salmonella from one egg - but if it isn't you, it might be someone else..

It was once believed that salmonella could only be carried over in cracked egg shells. However, recent research has shown that salmonella can be present when the shell has not been breached or cracked. it claims that the astounding number of outbreaks in 2006 was 183 in only 21 states all on the east coast (+-)
I did not read the whole article
but I am sure free range chickens are to blame or the ranch pets..
The industrial production centers are monitored by the FDA and USDA .
I do not handle the slippery slimy feeling but to mix in a drink,, fine by me.

Yes. Fresh eggs are fine raw if the shells have no cracks.
