i've never been a big fan of rum, i usually just stick with vodka. but rum is all i really have right now & i can't stand how strong it is.

Well...can't recommend using just 151 as a mixer for a drink.. 151 is usually used in a small dose as a layer on a shot, (think flaming Dr. pepper shot, b-52 shooters ect.) if all you have is the 151, then mix maybe at most 1/2 oz shot with an 8 oz mixer of coke, or other soda or juice you enjoy. 151 is flammable, and in high enough doses can cause problems.

You guys are just woosies! I drink it with diet coke and a squeeze of lemon. It costs the same as the 80 proof but gets you there much quicker and with a lot less. If you are out to get drunk, why waste the time with 80 proof? when you can get there much quicker and at he same cost? A good alcoholic knows what to drink. Yes. it is strong but what do you expect? It is after all 151 proof. I can t believe all of the pu&^ies that want this in fruit drinks. I, personnaly want the alcohol flavor. If you are just out for a midnight stroll, stick to daqueries with hardly any alcohol content. This is only for the Hard core alcoholic, AND, if you have to ask, then, by no means should you be drinking alcohol. Just my 2 cents. Term.

When I used to drink, I would drink a shot mixed with something else. usually something fruity and think like and orange smoothie with pineapple. mix it to taste. since this is 151 where dealing with, drink it slowly, and if possible, drink more fluids so that you don't get too dehydrated. 3 shots would mess me up.

you can do rum and coke, rum and dr pepper is good, rum mixed with oj, cranberry juice and pineapple is good,
I put it over sherbert, put it in a mcdonalds milkshake or a 7-11 icee.....

most all liquor 100 proof and over SHOULD be used when mixing in punches and fruit drinks and like eggnog..

I mix it with slushes from Sonic. Like watermellon goes well with it. Just depends on what flavor you like. :) Yum
