She's 15. She is not expected to bring gifts for everyone, but a hostess gift is definitely in order. Since the whole family will be there, a nice box of chocolates or a pretty holiday plant will be perfect. If she wanted to buy each a present, a little notepad/pencil set for the ladies and a coffee mug filled with treats for the guys. These are generic gifts that are not too personal and " in your face" but rather say, " It's nice to spend this day with you." She will be safe with gifts of this or a similar nature. Not too over the top.

Christmas is about sharing and bringing to gather. Personally I think she should get a game the whole family can play. That way she can interact with the whole family then it would be something they can later call a tradition. As for the boyfriend give his gift the day before so no one has to know.

Have her talk with her boy friend. What is their family tradition? Will the other family members be bringing her a gift?
I suggest just taking something home baked and making it a family gift. IE: To The Smith Family. That will cover everyone and be cheap.

She could bake cookies for the family and put them into a nice tin, or take a basket of fruit.. something economical that won't break the bank.
I think home made gifts are the nicest.

That would be a good idea. Maby a gift for boyfriend and a board game for the family?
You're so unselfish to let your child spend Christmas with them!!!
Bless You!

I think it would be appropriate to bring a fruit, cheese, or floral basket to the parents. She could make homemade bread, fudge, or cookies for his siblings! I wouldn't have her go overboard, since she's only fifteen years old.

I personally think she should just drop in with some cookies or other edibles and not stay all evening. She is very young and this probably wont last

How about a nice basket of goodies for everyone to enjoy? That's what I would do in that situation.
