Fate definitely. God has predestined a person to think the way he/she thinks and already gave a set of instructions on how he/she will behave. We're just following those instructions right now. Like it or not.

As an atheist I don't believe in free will but I don't believe in fate in the "divine" sense. I am a determinist.
All actions and thoughts are part of a chain of events. Causality predetermines everything by the laws of the universe.
At any minute I can do what I want but my rationalization to decide what I want is not in my control.

Fate, only symbolically because technically it doesn't really even exist until after the fact. Freewill, no...that is just silly religion talk IMO, humans are free to do as they please no matter what, though they may pay for it later if it goes against laws.

I believe in what you would call fate. I don't see anything mystical about it, I don't think that there is some grand purpose. I believe all things are in the chain of cause and effect. Everything is interconnected, but there is so much going on that things seem random.

I believe that your destiny has 2 roads one to turn from & one to turn to, the low road & the high road. Also that this same God thet ceated us has given us the free will to make the choice. There is hell & there is heaven no man or creature can take away or add to what God has done. Amen Peace!!!

I believe that we have a set path.
But, we can only change the way we get there.

Example:

Say I was supposed to die in a car crash tomorrow.
Instead of drive down 47th and cactus I could go to the mall first then go to bethany rd. and go to were I'm supposed to die.

Free will...obviously.

Absolutely NOTHING makes sense if we're controlled by fate.
