Competition to get into heaven is ridiculous. God can accomodate all (I mean, that just makes sense if it's God!).

Im still trying to understand the Wine and Bread. It seems that the majority of christianity stresses that anyone who believes in Christ should take part in the new convenant. JWs perspective of it is only for a 'class' and the term 'little flock' still throws me off and the 144,000, not becuase it's not biblical I'm only trying to understand the perspectives of the so many christian religons out there.
Not a JW, or Christian. Trying to Become one.

Whats Funny about Questions like these is the fact that everyone is Human, and they Have No problem living on this earth, going here, going there, having a Great time. BUT no sooner do they start thinking about DEATH when their entire Outlook on life changes.
Mankind was Made to Live on earth FOREVER people. God spoke to Adam about " becoming Many and Filling the Earth. Not a Single word On going to Heaven. It had to take 4,000 more years to pass before Christ Mentioned to his Faithful disciples " I make a Covenant with you for a Kingdom that where I am you may be also"... There is Nothing In that Verse or others that says that Earth is a Stepping Stone Planet for one to go to Heaven.
Religion continues to Blind the Minds & Hearts of Humans, why am I not surprised?

The answer is indicated by the fact that, after mention of the definite number 144,000, Revelation 7:9 refers to “a great crowd, which no man was able to number.” If the number 144,000 were not literal it would lack meaning as a contrast to the “great crowd.” Viewing the number as literal agrees with Jesus’ statement at Matthew 22:14 regarding the Kingdom of the heavens: “There are many invited, but few chosen.”
Ps. 37:11: “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”

For logician - we've not have been given any way of understanding who's to stay to tell the story Armageddon or no longer. the only prerequisite the Bible set on that's they must have a solid heart and be keen to earnings and settle for what the Bible teaches. If Jehovah God, by way of his Son, Jesus sees that for the period of an somebody who isn't one in all Jehovah's Witnesses, then they'll stay to tell the story. If Jehovah God sees that for the period of lots of individuals that are no longer Jehovah's Witnesses, they'll stay to tell the story. Jehovah's Witnesses have never mentioned they have the perfect say with a view to who survives and who does not. we are no longer the decide. Jesus Christ is. And he will do a good activity. And any who will stay to tell the story would be welcomed as worth of existence. All survivors will learn the way their deliverance got here, by way of God's Son, Jesus, and could be so grateful to abide by using what the Bible teaches. It ability their eternal existence. and that they are going to be continuously grateful. Questioner - that's not a remember of heaven being finished. If Adam and Eve had never sinned, there'll possibly never be ANY human who might have stepped foot into heaven. because of the disobedience of guy, God has made an allowance for a small sort of elect human beings to take part in a sparkling government of God's making, talked approximately as God's kingdom, which will help deliver the earth lower back to the paradise and perfection which it so rightly merits. Jesus , and this small team of chosen human beings, would be those utilized by using God to work out his purpose fulfilled in direction of the earth and its inhabitants. Adam, on an identical time as in the international, earlier his sin, had verbal replace with God. What a privilege he had. And he gave that up whilst he chosen disobedience. So for people who would be chosen to stay in the international continuously, they have this opportunity to alter into God's little ones lower back, ideal here in the international. and have a wonderful relationship with their heavenly Father, that even surpasses what they might have immediately as sinful human beings. that's what's delivered out in Romans 8:21 which states they are going to be set loose from the "enslavement to corruption and have the wonderful freedom of the little ones of God." that doesn't sound like a existence with "no wish".

We aren't trying to recruit people. I don't see why people think that. But yes, there are 144,000 anointed chosen ones from Earth who are to rule in heaven with Jesus after they finish their Earthly course.
(Revelation 14:1) And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
(Revelation 5:10) and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
As for all the other faithful one today and throughout history, they are to live here on a perfect paradise Earth.
(Psalm 37:11) 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

LOL that's funny. As a JW, I can tell you this little secret...I don't expect to go to Heaven with the 144,000. I expect that after Armageddon...I'm gonna still be here on earth while Jehovah helps us to build a "new earth" and I plan on living here forever in perfection.
Wanna know why I believe that the bible teaches this? To further educate yourself on our beliefs, I would recommend reading "What The Bible Really Teaches"
You don't have to convert in order to know what we believe, and I believe more than anything that people should be educated in all beliefs, to decide for themselves what they wish to do, based on accurate knowledge.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not "recruit", bu they do preach the bible's good news. The preaching work is performed because Jesus commanded it, not because it benefits Jehovah's Witnesses personally or as a religion.
Incidentally, Jehovah's Witnesses expect that many thousands of the 144,000 have never set foot in a Kingdom Hall or read 'The Watchtower'.
The vast majority of Jehovah's Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven.
Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
...(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
...(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
...(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him
The men and women who make up the 144,000 are selected by God from among two thousand years of Christians. Jesus himself noted that those who are 'given' the administration of the Kingdom government would be a relatively "little flock", while all of Christianity constituted Christ's "other sheep".
...(Luke 12:32) Have no fear, LITTLE FLOCK [with a heavenly hope], because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom [to administer alongside the Christ] [caps added]
...(John 10:16) And I [Jesus] have OTHER SHEEP, which are not of this fold; those also I must bring [to be subjects of the kingdom government][caps added]
Those kingly, priestly administrators in God's government by Christ will assist in the rulership of heaven and earth (where most Christians who survive Armageddon will remain).
...(Revelation 7:9-11,13,14) Look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes... These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation [compare Matt 24:3,21]
Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope by means of holy spirit and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
...(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
...(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree meant never dying]
It follows that those resurrected after Armageddon will be resurrected to earth. It seems that the vast majority of dead humans will be resurrected, including the previously unrighteous.
...(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
...(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
