You might want to read the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, there are whole sections on getting people to listen to you carefully and fully, it is an acquired skill.

I agree. Adults use their 'power' over kids far too much. We should listen to kids more, and give them some respect. We shouldn't butt in until the kids have finished speaking.....they are young adults, and have the right to say their piece. However, with that right, comes responsibility....and kids should accept that they have to take the blame for some things, and not be moody about it. For example - why did you get sent out of the class? How did the glass get broken? I have two kids aged 18 & 19, and I try and listen to them, but (when they were younger) they used to blame each other for stuff, so if I couldn't decide what to do, I would punish them both, knowing full well that one of them was innocent. They had to sort it out themselves then. So...stay calm, say your bit, and try to accept whatever the adults say gracefully. That will show maturity, and make us less likely to blame you in future. :)

Well Sami,
I remember feeling that way when I was young. And I think most of the problem would be "how" u explain yourself. If they say," OMG! What did u do?" Do u get really defensive and start yelling and being rude, "It was HER!! I didn't DO IT! MAN! Do u ever think SHE does anything?!!" or do you calmly say,"well, I think my sister accidentally dropped it, but I can pick it up for u..."
It's all how u choose to respond. If you automatically get defensive and rude, they will not want to hear 1 word u say.
And it sounds like u keep getting caught goofing off in class and get into trouble....that alone will make teachers have atttudes towards u. We all goofed off in class when we were kids, but some of us get caught and some don't. I'm sorry for your luck and I hope things turn out better for ya.

Surely you cannot be 14 and have that kind of spelling and grammar. It was too painful to try to read the entire thing. You need to ask that teacher to tutor you after school.

God that was hard to read, but if you would quiet down and listen to me, I would tell you that you seriously need to work on your grammar skills, and typing skills as well.
God help you in your search for future employment...

I'm gonna have to agree with Cecilia...if you want to be taken seriously...you can't type like that. You'll never get a job with that spelling and grammar.

Hi hon... if you want people to respect you, perhaps you could work on your english language skills?
If you want someone to listen, then ask them if they'd please take time out to listen because you'd like to be heard.

Learn how to spell first and someone might listen to you.If you speak like you spell it's no wonder no one will listen to you.

Well, if you speak in a similar manner to your spelling, it is no wonder an adult doesn't listen to anything you say.
