I've been in Atlanta on business for two weeks now (with a rental car) and have noticed that nearly everyone in Atlanta who drive vehicles do not use their turn signals - not on the highway, not in town, not in the smaller neighborhoods - nothing! Even the police, buses, municipal vehicles, etc.

Is there a reason for this - or is it just idiocy and lack of police enforcement.

I for one write tickets on those who fail to use turn-signals so it's not a lack of enforcement in every case.

I'm inclined to believe two things:

1) The problem exists everywhere due to a lack of maintaining basic drivers skills; and

2) It's an option the vehicle owner paid for but forgot where it's located!

that's no longer common whilst somebody cuts you off with out any warning. Failing to grant a turn sign is honestly fairly elementary at present. some think of that's no longer needed specifically circumstances, yet some truly do no longer care. you may administration what you will do, yet no longer what the different drivers will do, regrettably. the main suitable thank you to circumvent nuts like that's to maintain your distance no longer only from those in the previous and when you in an identical lane, yet additionally from those in the neighboring lanes. exceptionally, while you're changing to the middle lane from the left, pay better interest to the automobiles in the main suitable lane. they could desire to alter to center lane on an identical time even even with the indisputable fact that they do no longer sign. And continually recognize the encircling, and make your self continuously in the region the place you may exchange lane in a hear beat. which skill you may desire to notpersistent in the path of a dense %. of automobiles. Be risk-free.

Drivers in Atlanta don't do a whole lot except go really, really fast.

I use to live in Atlanta and I think the reason for this is when you try to change lanes, people actually speed up instead of letting you over, and you end up missing your exit.

So, it is like if you don't give them notice, they can't speed up and cut you off.

Atlanta is like the wild, wild west of the South, drivers do whatever they want.
