Were they just sitting around waiting for scientific evidence, or did most of them consider it to be a myth. Did someone actually have to carry a water sample to the White House and say "yes, it is indeed rain, we have carbon 14ed it, it is happening now."

For those of you who want to take this question seriously, do so at your own risk.

They were waiting for evidence that anyone actually gave a damn. Because they were worthless Bush-ites.

They didn't have to wait long. Evidence usually comes up sooner or later, and the argument's over.

Look, did you know that the Hurricane was going to do what it did? No..... Nobody did. And Bush if you research better actually told the state of Louisana to set a state of emergency. But of course you didn't catch that did you. And as well as blaming Bush on all the people stuck in LA, WHERE WAS THE DAMN GOVERNER? He or she was the one responsible for the calls that should have been made. And the people that were stuck down there should have been evacuated via the buses that were shipped north. But the GOVERNER did not allow that to happen. The GOVERNER should have enforced the mandatory evacuation when they first found out about the hurricane. But it comes back to the simple fact that YES, we were warned, but who would have thought?

New Orleans was a wake-up call for the country to see where some of our cracks are.

FEMA....and the governor....and our President, etc. let the people of New Orleans fall through the cracks.

Hopefully that won't happen again.

maybe because they could not get in with vehicles.

why did mayor nagen leave new orleans and take his family with him to frisco texas to buy a new house, he was signing papers while he left his people there. why didn't he stay to help. he also had the chance prior to flooding to use all the school buses to get his people out of city but did nothing. but I guess it's easier to blame bush since he's in washington. instead of nagen who lived in the city and saw it coming.

1.) Bush was waiting for God to give him the go-ahead.

2.) He was sure that there were weapons of mass destruction in New Orleans and was awaiting confirmation.

3.) Bush wasn't sure New Orleans was in America.

This is what happens when you have a retarded president that sits around and prays for crap to happen instead of making a bunch of phone calls right away.

I think it's because...um...I can't think of anything funny.

Bush is a poopyhead. FEMA was a handout job. I love New Orleans and all of it's debauchery. (drunk women are able to look past the teeth and schnozz)

Lack of recognition of the extent of the emergency and bureaucratic bs.
