I have a regular desk job (behind a computer all day...grr) and I need some ideas for what I should eat at work (I typically don't take a lunch break). I now only bring a few packets of instant oat meal every day which I eat for lunch, a couple peices of fruit, and I have a box of tea bags at my desk which I just put in my watter bottle.

I ran my metabolism up so high that I'm always starving when I get home and always eat terrible stuff.

What are some snack ideas for the office (I have a fridge avaliable for me)? What do you take to work?

my lunch at work was basically the same for years, and about the same as yours.. 2 packets instant oatmeal, frssh fruit ( apples, bananas, oranges) and tuna fish. i was cheap and just brought canned stuff in, but you can get the packets that are ready to eat. instead of loading it with mayo, you could use hotsauce.

Apples, almonds & rasians, string cheese,100 calorie snackc, cucumbers, veggies and dip are good snacks. Sandwiches are good. Try lunchables, South Beach Diet has some yummy ones. Do you have a microwave? If you do, frozen meals are good, try Smart Ones & Lean cusine, cambells soup and leftovers from dinner. Also try salads, you can put a lot of protein in it and use a light dressing.

Go to a grocery store and walk around, you will get lots of ideas!

I work at a desk job and snack all day. I will eat anything though. I really like the craisins trail mix with dried fruit and cashews in it, not sure if it is healthy but it is really gooooood.

i usually have peanuts to snack on... or bring yoghurt, or cranola bars, but they are too sugary, so I cut them out of my daily snacks... another thing you can do is, buy a fresh pineapple, slice them into small pieces, and put them into individually lunch bags... put them into your fridge at work and eat them during your slumbing hours... it's really good...

fresh fruit is good, also raw veggies. yogurt, pretzels, crackers and peanut butter. popcorn. graham cracker in whatever shape (they make sticks or bees besides the regular cracker). eating more protein and fiber will help you not get so hungry.
