Exercise a bit. Walk or run or jog or swim or bike, only for about 30 minutes a day, every couple of days. Be a little more careful about what you eat.
I've lost nearly 30 pounds walking an hour a day, almost every day, and eating better, in less than 3 months.
Take care,
Dana

I have no idea how much I weigh (my mom took my scale away, I'm guessing between 100-115 pounds-ish) but I'm as tall as you and 13, and I do starve myself sometimes. Other ways I try to loose wieght are by going for runs (harder now because it's so cold!) or ever walks and going sit ups, crunches, push ups etc. while watchin TV or a movie (I watched high school musical 1 and 2 a couple weekends ago and spent the whole time doing sit ups, it burned a lot of calories).
You can always eat less junk food and more water, too, but I'm sure you've heard that before =)

Why do you want to get thinner, turst me too thin is not always attractive. You are 5'8" or so and weigh 114lbs. That is very thin, if you were 5'2" i would say you are fine for your height.
Some men like to see some meat on their women. Besides there is no such thing is no fat, even athletes have atleast 7% body fat, unless you want to dissappear into thin air I suggest keeping some meat on those bones.
You are only a teen, you don't need to lose any more weight. Just be happy with what you have and concentrate on having fun!

go to www.mypyramid.gov to find out exactly how much you should consume nad how much activity you need. when you are watchin TV maybe you should do sit ups or tune into Fit TV. Wake up a little early and put is some stretches or wahtever sport you like. afterschool do a routine that you will stick to. diet wise, stick to a 1,800 calorie diet. use a diet journal to help. record what you ate and it's calories. figure how much you went over and burn that. record the exercises and calories burnt. write in it daily. ask a counselor for school nutrition.
exercise too. i do 50 push ups, sit ups and stretch a lot. i jog atleast 30 minutes a day, i do yoga in my free time and dance sometimes! have fun doing it too! get buds to join
my food-
i eat a bowl of mini wheats that have lots of fiber with an able on the side for breakfast, school i have no extras for lunch, snack is a handful of nuts and dinner i don't over eat.
sometimes thirst is mistooken for hunger. so drink all the time to make sure.
the average person needs 8 glasses a day! ha!
and check some past questions about BMI and overweight/underweight to find out. and check your doctor or gym teacher to make sure dieting and exercising is okay. you cna damage yourself or hurt yourself a lot!

I lost over forty pounds this year without making major changes to my diet beyond eating smaller portions of the same foods. I also incorporated more exercise, but mostly just walking, I did not join a gym or anything.
Much of it is psychological. People who spend a great deal of time around other people who are overweight tend to be overweight, and people who surround themselves with thin people tend to be thin. You pick up some of the habits of those whose company you share, and your mental attitude about losing weight can be part of that as well.

freeze mini chocolates and have them when you have a treat as it lasts for ages and tricks your mind into thinking you have eaten a bigger bar, this then stops the cravings! Its only a little change but it does work.
