This guy I know is a very kind person but he doesn't look all that great. I mean it's not his body, just his face. I mean it's alright but he's just not that goodlooking. But his voice is hot and deep. What should I do? :'( He really means a lot to me and I keep escaping from him and making all these excuses and he's not buying it. I don't know why I'm running away. =(

Tell him that you like him but can't date him. Don't force yourself to do something that you don't want to do.

You need to decide what's more important to you in a relationship. If all you're looking for is someone who looks great, then you'll find them and more than likely be miserable for the next ten to twenty years. Because that's about how long their face will last if you're lucky. People age with winkles and moles, scars happen after accidents nobody plans, skin cancer eats away at hundreds of thousands of faces a day, and your face isn't going to stay the same either.
Mature, healthy relationships are built on mutual trust, small kindnesses we share with each other, homes we build together, children we raise together, all those abstract concepts you can't see, but big building blocks of life. I'm not going to say we don't all look for someone who physically attracts us, but I think you need to really think about what you wrote. It makes you seem so shallow and conceited and I truly hope I'm misreading what you're writing.
Something else is more than likely keeping you from dating this guy. If you are not attracted to him because he's selfish or not intellectually stimulating or he spits on you...something that is insurmountable in your mind, then walk away from it altogether and be honest with him. Don't keep him coming back to try to win you over cause you need to make a choice and stick with it. It's not fair to him if you're not giving him your full attention.

To be honest I was not initially physically attracted to my man.(but I would never tell him that - not that he isn't nice looking - just not my typical type) I fell head over heals in love with his humor and kindness and personality. Now when I look at him I see the hottest guy in the world. Getting to know him and not relying on my eyes alone to dictate my heart was the best decision I ever made ! Sometimes it just works that way.

Looks ain't everything. Everybody's looks are shot to hell when they're 70. Unless your name happens to be Sean Connery, who improved with age, IMO.

only talk to him on the phone. or if u are with him, just wear sunglasses all the time so that he cant tell ur looking at the hottie across the room while ur listening to him talk... lol
