what is the martial arts movie where the main charactor chained a butcher knife to his shoulder when his arm was cut off... I think its an old jet li movie?

I remember that movie, rented it on VHS back in the 90s. It's was a new Hong Kong version of the "One armed swordsman" I think the main villain was the actor who played the role of "Clubfoot" in Jet Li's "Once upon a time in China" series of movies, but Jet Li was not in the movie. Just can't remember the title....aaaaarrrghh!!! I'll get back to you if I remember it.
EDIT: Yeeeesss!!! Found it! The title is "The Blade" (cantonese title is "Dao") directed by Tsui Hark. It came out in 1995.

I been looking for this for years thanks guys - had it on VHS when I was a kid never had the name.
