Here's my observation of the present state of affairs:
Christian says: "My God is the ONLY true God because my religious book says so".
He is right.
Muslim says: "My God is the ONLY true God because my religious book says so".
He is a fundamentalist and a possible terrorist.
Why is it like that? Need your comments please.

TO jinengli: And Christian says "My god is the ONLY true god, and I will slowly coax, bribe, cajole, trick or beguile you into converting to my way of thinking. I have many agents working for that.
TO 'That didnt work': Do you really think I am prejudiced? I only try to be a good world citizen so that they do not brand me a terrorist for some issue I don't even know of.
Markus: Excuse me - but could you tell me in which chapter and verse of the Koran the Mohammed says this. You seem to be a forward looking Christian who has at least read something of anothe religion. Looking forward to your edited response.

To all ye who speak of the belligerence of Muslims... DO NOT FORGET THAT A FEW GENERATIONS AGO CHRISTIANS WERE GOING AROUND CRUSADES FOR THE SAKE OF RELIGION. IS THAT WHY YOU CALL YOURSELVES SINNERS AND REPENT??

...and here is my observation of the present state of affairs:
1. Fundamentalists and terrorists exist in all religions.
2. My God is my conscience. No book can tell me what to think*
(mind you I might well write a book telling what I think)
*down through the ages, this has been the most dangerous statement of all.
Read George Orwell's '1984', and thank your lucky stars you aren't Winston Smith.
Ye Olde Canadian, Hitler drew a picture of Jesus that suited his purpose. Many Christians waged a bombing campaign against him.
Muslims say they accept Jesus as a Prophet (but not the Son of God as Christians do): excuse enough for some who claim to be Christians, to bomb them.

I agree with Fifi.
God does not need anybody to believe in him. It does not diminish him whatsoever. The terrorists that go around yelling this are hurting people and are probably NOT going to get anyone to Islam.
The reason I believe in Islam is because it makes sense. If you want proof (which humans do), read the Qur'an, and see for yourself. Also, look around you. This cannot be random chance, because there is intelligent design.
How can anything come from nothing? Everything comes from something, and this chain of causes cannot continue into infinity and needs a first cause (God).

Since we're already making unfair generalizations about religious groups, might as well add one more:
Atheist says: "There is NO God because I say so."
He is also right. However, Christians and atheists are only right amongst their own. When one is in the presence of the others, he is wrong and a blithering idiot to boot.

Love? lots of those structures communicate approximately love. Hasn't delivered them jointly regardless of the undeniable fact that. looks that your diagnosis is incorrect, love has no longer delivered them jointly. i think of your assessment that we want love incredibly than open debate is likewise incorrect. each perception gadget might desire to be challenged by using the different perception gadget. regardless of the undeniable fact that it would be advantageous if anybody must be nicer to a minimum of one yet another on an identical time as doing so, yet a number of them have innovations that cause them to at the same time unique, those must be challenged besides.

Muslims say that because they are decendants of Ishmael, who was Abraham's first son, but not the son of promise. And Ishmael, who married an Egyptian woman (who of course, worshipped all kinds of gods), had an influence on him when he founded Islam.
The perception probably has a lot to do with September 11th.

Unfortunately these two are proving the non-existence of God in god's name itself .
They do not seem to have been made by one and the same God ; but by different Gods or by a crazy or lunatic God .who forgot to put some little bits of brain into their skulls.

Christians lack knowledge that muslims believe in jesus and his god(but not that jesus was his son) and that Muslim's god is the same as Christian's god and yet Christians make fun of their religion not knowing they're insulting their own god

Because Christianity doesn't wage bombing campaigns when someone draws a picture of Jesus.
Oh, and by "a few generations ago" you must mean a full thousand years... And anyone with any kind of grade eight education will know that the Crusades were not about "God", they were about land, money and two spheres of influence clashing...
