Hot mommy (or mama).
or
"Shorty" (which never made *any* sense to me).
or
Baby girl.
So, do girls *really* like being referred to like this, or is it just something I hear on the radio and see on television.

I'm most assuredly *not* from the ghetto (poor yes, but that's another story).
Yeah, I guess I've been watching too much TV, lol.

No. We've been fighting for our rights as equals to men for too long to want to be called coddling names like those.

Baby girl yes it sounds sweet and indearing. But to some girls it doesnt because then there like "umm I am not that much younger than you and I'm not your daughter" it depends on the girl I have seen it both ways! I personally think baby girl is adorable but the others are demeaning. Also from personal experience most girls HATE being called sexy or hot they prefer beautiful

First of all, I wouldn't like being called any of those, but it really depends on what girl you are talking to. Girls / women are human beings and shouldn't be classified into the same liking. Some girls are more affectionate than others, and some are more withdrawn.
We shouldn't be grouped together when asked a question, but remember that there are millions of females all over the world and each one has different likings.

I think I may be in the minority but I like baby girl but only from a close friend, or boyfriend not a guy trying to pick me up lol
I prefer my girl, sweetie or a special name that is important in the relationship or is a reference to me or something I like. I think guys too often use these names to show love or likeness but often they are so overused and part of popular language they lose all meaning.

Sweetie pie
Honey
Sugar

Sexy
baby girl
Do you like any of these?Because I'd rather be called one of these, or all. =)

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!
I'm happy you brought this up, women don't like to be refered as HOT, SEXY or MAMA. They prefer Beautiful
Baby Girl is ONLY acceptable when said by the girls father or loving boyfriend. NOT just any random guy trying to pick her up.

I cant speak for every girl but i know that i would not mind being called that...it builds up your self esteem. But it also depends who its coming from and in what way it is being said. If i was called any of these names by someone other than my boyfriend i would take it as an insult.

Not really. Not in a racist way but black girls normally get called that? Like shorty, thats what rap artists say to the girls in their videos. Id rather be called babe or hun.

A real girl would want to be called pleasant or sweet things like beautiful, sweetie, honey, or something made up just for her by you. Those things you mentioned are trashy, like trailer-park trashy
