I heard many times that Christians believe that God loves everybody (even bad people??) & Jesus took everybody's suffering so that other can go to heaven.
Is above true?
If he loves everybody how does bad people get punished?

Yes, God loves everyone. Everyone is good.
The proof of this comes from Genesis 1 - God created the world and everything in it, and He saw that it was good. God is love, perfect love, and loves all that is good.

Sin was not created. Sin is an absence of God's presence; it is a turning away from Him. Sinful people aren't bad, in the strictest sense of the word; they have turned away from God. God doesn't send anyone to Hell and let the rest go to Heaven. God snatches people away from Hell into Heaven; those that end up in Hell refused the hand He offered them - they kept their backs turned.

God established covenant after covenant with humanity, to try to bring them back together as a family - first with Adam & Eve, then Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and finally through Jesus Christ. Anyone going to Hell is not for a lack of God's trying.

(There are longer, better treatments of the subject, of course. I recommend C. S. Lewis's "The Problem of Pain" very highly, for a treatment of suffering. I also suggest you read Peter Kreeft's "Everything You Wanted to Know About Heaven...", which touches some on Hell.

Being good or bad has no bearing on where a person will spend eternity. Those who have heard about the offer of salvation through Christ Jesus and refuse it are the ones who will be separated from God for eternity. Those who have never heard of the offer of salvation are talked about in Romans 2:12 -15.
2:12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
2:14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law,
2:15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
Who are these people? Those are the ones around the world like the natives in the jungles of South America, the towns in China and so on.

God wants NO one to go to eternal punishment, but it's up to each and every person to trust Christ or refuse Him as Lord and Savior.

Yes, that is true.
The early Church was universalist. Most of them believed that evil people would be 'corrected' through temporary suffering in the afterlife, and then they would be admitted to paradise along with everyone else. The "good news" of the Gospel was universalism - i.e. the doctrine that God loves everyone, that there is only one God, that (because of Jesus) everyone was going to be saved, that we don't have to be bound by superstitions or fairy tales, and that a belief in immortality is capable of bringing about psychological and social change.

good questions. God loves all people, but discriminates in His love. Do you love your parents or children in the same way you love a stranger? The answered would be no, same with God. He loves His children(believers) more intensely and personally then the unbeliever. He shows His love for even those who are not His by giving them food, air, clothing, shelter, water, etc.. There are no "good" or "bad" people. All people, in their natural state, are completely depraved, unable to do anything that pleases God. The only "good" we have is God working through those who are His. We may do what we deem "good" works here on earth in our flesh, or natural self, but those deeds are worthless to God.
The answer to your second question lies in one of the doctrines of grace, limited atonement. Jesus did not die for the sins of everyone, for, as you noted, there would be forgiven, redeemed people in Hell. Jesus took the sins of His people, those chosen out for salvation, not for those who are not His.

Mat 1:21 And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

Joh 10:11 I am the Good Shepherd! The Good Shepherd lays down His life on behalf of the sheep.

Eh, not exactly. There are Scriptures that say that God HATES. A lot of folks will not tell you that part. He hates the deeds of the wicked, He despises their ways and etc. Many verses say this. Now He also says that He DOES NOT want the wicked to die in their ways. He does in fact want them to turn from these ways of evil and turn to doing good. (check out Ezekiel chap 18). Jesus did die for EVERY PERSON and that WHOSOEVER would come to Him can receive Life and Forgiveness. It is up to us to walk in that now.

Now there is a basic principle that says "what comes around goes around". Well that is not new. It is a Biblical principle that states we reap the fruit of our doings. Or as we give we receive. Hope that clarifies some of it for ya.

God Bless

God loves everyone in the world, no matter who they are. He sent His Son Jesus to live in the world and take on the world's punishment for sin. All are eligible for mercy from God based on what Jesus did. If anyone asks God to forgive him and to be his God, God makes it happen.

Bad people many times don't want to ask God for help or forgiveness. They want to "do their own thing". God will let them do their own thing. If they die while doing their own thing they spend eternity separate from God in hell. That becomes their punishment. But don't imagine that God likes to have people go to hell. He would much rather all men got to know Jesus Christ and be part of God's kingdom.

Many times God uses circumstances and people to confront folks with His love, His reality, His salvation. He does this for all people, good/bad.

When I was 18 I decided to kill myself. I called a crisis hotline hoping someone would talk me out of killing myself. A very kind person listened to me for 2 hours and then helped me locate a youth organization. Turns out these people were Christians. After I watched them for a few weeks I decided I wanted what they had. I told them that and then they showed me how to talk to God like He is in the room with us - it was my first prayer. God came into my life/ into my spirit right that first moment and has been changing me ever since and letting me be part of His family. My Mom became a Christian after she saw how much Jesus changed my life. I would rather be a Christian and know Jesus than have 1 billion dollars. He is wonderful, kind, good, interesting. I love Him, because He showed me love first and then began to teach me how to love Him back.

God loves you just the same as He loves me. If you want to know Jesus, just talk to Him like you would to a real person in the room with you. You will never regret becoming a Christian.
Thank you for asking this question. I love to get to talk about Jesus, He is so cool!

God shows his love by correcting us and/or using discipline to bring us to where he wants us to be. what does a good father do when he sees his child straying away from the right path to go his own way? he brings him back by means of discipline. now discipline can come in many forms depending on the seriousness of the offense. if a child is never disciplined [or suffers consequence for his wrong action], he will never learn what is right.

God has paid the penalty for our sins so we will not have to suffer the second death, which is hell. because of his love for us, he disciplines us and brings us into the relationship with him that he desires. so the next time you feel you are suffering consequences for your sin, remember it is God disciplining out of love

You're not suppose to worry over the next man's punishment. Vengence is the Lords.
Your punishment happens right here on Earth. and then you are judged by God.

Essential God does love everyone. And they way he shows that love is by providing them a means to be saved from the punishment of their sin. But to be qualified they have to come to him on his terms.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
