The first thing to do is take a deep breath and relax... stress is bad for the skin! It is good that you are holding ice to it as this is a good way to reduce the swelling of a pimple, but it won't stop it from coming on unfortunately. The best thing to do is make sure you keep the area clean, and make sure you are using an oil free moisturizer. Go to the drugstore and get the single use pimple swabs. They come prewrapped filled with pimple medicine, you simply crack the stick and the medicine goes into the swab. These single use treatments should help keep the infection at bay to a degree. The next thing you can do is try Visene or similar eye drop. These can sometimes help to take the red out of pimples, making them less obvious and easy to cover.
If the pimple does come full blast, continue with the ice and swabs, and cover it with some concealer. Make sure you get a concealer that is formulated for a pimple. I recommend Benefit Galactic Sheild or Bobbi Brown Blemish Stick. Both of these contain ingredients to help heal your pimple, cover withthout shifting while you wear it and best of all not cause further breakouts.
If you are really desperate and have some exta cash, you can invest in a heat/wave treatment device. These are sold at places like Sephora and Ulta, and when used at the onset of a pimple they can drastically reduce the amount of time you have the pimple or prevent it from coming on at all. They are expensive though and if you aren't prone to large, systic pimples it's not worth the expense.
Good luck, and try to stay calm!!

If the pimple is a simple blackhead...
Begin by cleansing your face. Then apply a clay-based mask to the pimple and its surrounding area. Clay actually draws impurities out of the skin -- in this case, the plug of oil and dead skin cells that created the blackhead in the first place. Allow the mask to sit for its required time, then rinse off. Now apply a pore-cleansing strip (found in drugstores) to the pimple. Your skin should be wet so the strip sticks properly. Allow the strip to dry, and quickly peel it off. With it should come your blackhead. Ice the area for a few minutes to minimize swelling, then follow with your regular makeup routine.
If the pimple is a pustule (in other words, has come to a pus-filled head)...
To begin, soak a washcloth with hot water. The hotter you can stand it, the better its effect will be. Apply this hot washcloth to the pimple; don't press too hard, but rather hold the washcloth against the pimple. The heat will serve to draw the pus inside the pimple upward, making it easier to remove. After you've applied heat for several minutes, gently dry the area. Now wrap each index finger in a clean tissue. Using gentle pressure, lightly squeeze the pimple. Beware: There's a fine line between squeezing gently enough to remove the pus, and hard enough to draw blood (which can lead to scarring). If nothing comes out of the pimple after gentle prodding, leave it alone; you can try the same routine later.
If the pimple is a big, red, itchy, or sore bump...
You have two options: You can either see a dermatologist for an emergency zapping, or you can simply cover the pimple. The first option is the more radical. A dermatologist can inject a cortisone solution into this type of pimple, instantly shrinking it. If this isn't practical, you can try option two: Covering it with makeup. Begin with a concealer that matches your skin exactly; avoid coverup that's lighter than your skin, as it'll highlight rather than camouflage your zit. Use your finger to dab a tiny bit of concealer on the pimple. Now blend the concealer out with a concealer brush. When the pimple is sufficiently covered, top with a dusting of loose powder to help the coverup stay in place. Important: Be sure to wash off the concealer before bed -- skipping this step can actually make the pimple worse!

Stressing over the pimple is only going to cause it to form that much faster which isn't such a bad thing. You want the pimple to come to a head so apply a warm towel to your nose, and then you can treat the pimple with a nice cleanser and witch hazel. Good luck and remember a pimple isn't the end of the world!

Go look for a product called 10-06 at your local Longs Drugs facial dept., it's alcohol based. Dip a Que-Tip in the 10-06 and roll out the pimple side to side and up and down. Dip again with other side of Que-Tip repeat. A couple times a day for a few days... good luck!

tea tree oil will ease redness and dry it up overnight, usually. You can get it at a whole foods store, or even at places like wal-mart. I use the all natural, but I'm sure any kind will do for a last minute fix. It tends to dry a little, so apply small amounts right on the area every couple of hours. It smells medicinal and a little antiseptic, but it's a life-saver for your face in a time of need!

dont irritate it, just because it's red doesnt mean it is a pimple. It's probably a tiny scratch. Best you can do is not to be invasive when you touch it. Just make sure the area is always clean. If bacteria enters that opening, infection may occur.
Best you can do is GENTLY wash with a normal soap. I do not believe applying ice will help (it is not a bump or a bruise). For best result try applying an acne solutiion THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN Benzoyl Peroxide. If you do, redness will go extreme. Try a product in Walgreens or CVS. Clean and Clear is good one

i calamine lotion is good for bring done inflamation and redness, if its too white you can mix some of it in with makeup. but what ever you do dont touch it! as tempting as it is squeezing popping or pushing on the blemish is only going to make it more red and raised.
