She might need her anal glands expressed. Off to the vet or groomer you go!

You see, my dog did this too. Usually it is just because they are dirty, or they just like doing this (yuck). But watch carefully. If you notice this for, lets say, a month, check this out with your vet. Since you already went to the vet, try the groomer, because there might be some itchy dry "droppings" around the area. My dog was wearing an E collar at that time (she was a victim in a dog fight) so she couldn't reach that place. If your groomer and vet say nothing, watch her closely, stop her any time she tries to lick around there, and make sure she goes to the bathroom more often. If you see anything weird or rare in that spot, contact your vet immediately, and don't let your vet tell you anything crazy! (If they do again, because I'm pretty sure it's not fleas, then think about getting SERIOUS vet help).

I suggest bringing your dog to another Vet for a second opinion. No vet should tell you to give a dog a flea bath that close together. It is NOT good for them, it can give them many more issues than licking at their rear end.

First off they shouldn't be giving her flea baths on top of frontline - that's toooo many chemicals and could cause an allergic reaction. She may be irritated or allergies or habit or worms or she could need her anal glands expressed. Do you have a secondary vet? Might consider a 2nd opionion.

My beagle was almost bald for the same thing. However, it turns out that she was allergic to the flea bites. My vet gave her a shot (for allergies). So between the shot and the front line - she's stop scratching and her hair is growing back nicely. Good luck

That is sooo not fleas. What are you feeding her? It could be more like an allergic reaction to food, or she's not evacuating fully enough.
