How about butter?

All oils and fats can clog the skin and aide in the formation of pimples. These should never be intentionally used on the face, but if you do work around cooking oils, the best way to prevent clogging is to cleanse your face both morning and night, and follow with a toner (doesn't have to be expensive, but get one). This will help to make sure the most dirt and oil are cleared from the pores and the skin is given the chance to breathe and repair. You should follow this with a good moisturizer formulated for your skin type.

Oil and butter can clog the pores, which may lead to some pimples, but it's not a sure thing. Just wash your face if you get something on it.

Look, Most of the answers are going to tell you something about a specific acne creme or brand name to use for the pimples, but here's the truth. I swear that this works on every human no matter how often you shower, what glands you have, or WHATEVER your circumstances are. Take rubbing alcohol ( NO, IT DOESN'T BURN ONE BIT) and apply it gently to the affected area with a cotton swab, toliet paper, Q-tip, wash cloth.. or whatever. Yes, it IS supposed to give you that dry feel for a bit. Leave it on their for 35 seconds, then gently pat the area with water for a couple seconds til it feels moist again. Do this once a twice a day for 5 days and then.. TADAAAA!! No more acne. Try this before getting any acne solution, it DOES Work, I've tested it on myself and many others and has never failed.

No, I use olive oil on my skin, and my skin is very soft and smooth, I have no blemishes and I get complements on my skin all the time. It gives me a glow. I don't know about butter, but olive oil is where its at when it comes to skin care.

I got a faceful of oil when I was changing it in my car. I got no pimples from that, so I'm going to go with NO.
