You have people confused here...the Catholic and Orthodox churches named Paul a saint...no one else...there were 2 Pauls...the disciple Paul who walked with Jesus and was a Jew...obviously he became a Christian...and then there was the apostole Paul whose real name was Saul and he was a Jew who persecuted followers of Jesus for the Romans...it's speculated that he was a Pharisee in the Jewish faith...he was converted by an "angel of heaven" through which Jesus spoke to him...

Might want to specify which one you want info on...

Paul was a Christian
Paul to his devotion to Jesus very seriously
Paul was raised a Pharisee
Paul sat at the foot of those who walked with Jesus after his conversion
Paul was a Roman
Paul treated early Christians with contempt - even murdering them - he thought his job in life was to eradicate Christianity.
He was converted on the road to Damascus, when Jesus came to him - he was struck blind and mute (I think - I'm having a brain fart)
Most Jews still reacted with fear - but he was sent to the Gentiles not to the Jews.
Wow, he was shipwrecked, imprisoned, beaten - all sorts of stuff.

So, why the quiz?

Saul and Paul are the comparable. Saul replaced right into a persecutor of Christians till he replaced into converted and grew to grow to be common because of the fact the Apostle Paul. And that replaced into in 36 CE only 3 years after Jesus died and replaced into resurrected. additionally there have been many Christians till now this. At Pentecost of 33 CE only 50 Days after Jesus replaced into resurrected there have been approximately a hundred and twenty disciples accrued jointly and have been anointed with the holy spirit. This replaced into only the beginning up because of the fact on that very day approximately 3000 persons grew to grow to be disciples after listening to the forged information approximately Jesus from those a hundred and twenty disciples. And the Christian congregation persisted to advance from there. At yet yet back approximately 5000 have been extra to their huge type. you ought to truly study the e book of Acts notably the 1st 9 or 10 chapters. it is going to inform you many extra with regards to the 1st years of the Christians.

Paul was a Christian. There is no evidence outside Acts that he was ever Jewish, and Acts is not a credible source.

We don't know who his teacher was. He was a Roman citizen.

Obtain for yourself a King James Version Bible and read the new testament. There you will learn all about St. Paul, more importantly, you can learn about Jesus Christ. St. Paul said
in 1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11 he said he was an Hebrew, he was an Israelite, he was the seed of Abraham. Are they ministers of Christ? ( I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countryman, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
He was taught at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers.
I hope this small amount of information will help you, but I beg of you to study it all for your own understanding.
Sincerely

You'll find all those answers in the New Testament letters. I mean if you're genuinely interested in the subject why not read them. They're not very long.
