I am an "Atheist" because I do not believe in any kind of deity, nor in any kind of religion.

I don't think there really is a typical philosophy.
There is no stream called "atheism".

I do not believe in "atheism".

I think that an Atheist is portrayed by what he/she does not believe in rather than by what he/she believes in.

Real Atheists haven't got a belief system :-)
It is more a non-belief system, if you will :-)

I don't feel I belong to a community.

I see some people telling they are atheists but actually they are agnostics, or anti-theists, or frustrated believers.

In simple words:
an atheistic person does not believe in any kind of "deity" and does not feel attracted to any kind of religion.

Please notice that real atheists really don't need to get proofs about the existence or the non-existence of "God", given that real atheists do not pay any consideration for the concept of "god".

I understand that Atheists like to test religious concepts, but really, the people who pretend to be atheists and who keep on wondering about "god" aren't real atheists but agnostics.

Atheists are non-believers.
Agnostics are believers.

I am going to paraphrase your questions just to see if I understand:
Christianity, Islam, Hinduism: Examples of religion.
Should Atheism also be classed like the above as a religion or something else like a philosophy?
Individual atheists are going to understand their situation differently.

Per se, Atheism is a stance against a class of beliefs, ie.beliefs in any gods. This stance can exist without coordination with other beliefs, therefore not be really a philosophy.

Most certainly, this stance can exist without an social interaction with others who share that stance. Those social interactions might appear to be quite similar to religious activities. For example, I belong to an organization called Center For Inquiry, Indiana. This organization is a membership organization that sponsors various events. One of those events is a Sunday morning get together. Is this an Atheist Sunday School? I jokingly call this get together my unchurch church. BTW, Center For Inquiry officially does not want to be considered a religion. But sociologically, it functions like a religion.

I have a whole host of beliefs, but the vast majority of them have nothing to do with gods, religion, philosophy or other such non-essentials.

"Atheists what should I call your belief system.?"

Here is a link

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_philosophies

Look at all the different categories of philosophy. These all deal with people's outlook on life and while some deal with religious views, many do not. You cannot classify people according to their lack of a view on religion, because it isn't realistic. Do you understand what I am telling you? Some have no view on god, either positive or negative. So you cannot try to fit them into that role. Look at it this way. Say you have many different shaped blocks only two different shaped holes that they might fit in. One hole is round and the other square. Lets say the round blocks are theist and the square blocks are atheist. My outlook on life makes me a triangle block. Do you see what I mean? Because I have no belief either way, when it comes to religion, you cannot try to stick me, a triangle block, into the square or round hole. All atheist do not share the same outlook on life, so to try and classify them as the same is pointless.

Thank you for your concern for our feelings. I would prefer that atheism be referred to as a philosophy. It should not be considered a religion because there are no deities to worship, no doctrine to obey, no promises of future rewards, et cetera. Actually, even "belief system" is a bit of a stretch because most hard-core atheists firmly reject the idea of having any unsubstantiated beliefs at all. The very idea of accepting anything as true, without substantial corroborating evidence, is an anathema to most of us. Frankly, simply calling it "atheism" is generally the best choice.

Thank you for asking.

Atheism is not a philosophy. It is simply a term used to refer to someone who doesn't have a belief in a deity. Any philosophy an atheist holds to is of their own decision. There is nothing more to the term atheism.

Why are you so unaware of what an atheist is? extra to the factor in case you don't recognize what an atheist is why are you so illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting in the direction of them?! ATHEIST - somebody who does no longer have faith in a God – any God – no longer only the Christian one. yet that does no longer recommend they do no longer carry stable ethical or non secular ideals! they could persist with any faith that does no longer have a god and there are various those! Like BUDDHISM – non secular coaching from Buddha and his followers that by using destroying greed, hatred and fantasy (the reason for all suffering) guy can attain suited enlightenment!

atheism isn't a philosophy or belief system. Just like asexual is not a sexual position. And atypical isn't a type of typical.

no belief in deities"

All kinds of people don't believe in deities for all kinds of reasons. There is nothing to group them together other than non-belief in gods.

Everyone is born atheist. Religion is taught by strengthening belief in a world of superstition and myth.

But to answer your question:

"Atheists what should I call your belief system.?"

How about 'Derek'?

It's not a belief system, but in some limited cases you could very loosely term it that. I would call it atheism and leave it at that, especially as that is all that it is.

It's not a belief system either. Just call it atheism. My friends refer to it as my "lack of belief" (I'm not so crazy about that one) or my "non-religion". I like "non-religion".
