As a married guy with two kids.... it CAN be a sin. Its all about intent.

I don't do it. It took me awhile to learn what not to do (to be honest)....

Well, in the Bible, it says that by even looking at a woman with lust, you're already commiting adultary. But, we do live in the modern world, and none of use can be perfect like Jesus, so I guess so long as you don't go any further and repent here and there you'll probably be okay. Just make sure it's innocenent and you don't hurt anyone along the way. Especially if you have a gf, women tend to be very sensitive or jelouse (whether they admit it or not, they are) about other women. So, good luck and God Bless! =)

If you are single and you flirt with someone who is single then no... If either one of you are married then it depends on the way the flirting is going on. If its in fun and you are just joking about it, then its not, but if there is intent behind the flirting I would suggest you not flirt. Also, if you have a girlfriend and you are a guy she won't like you to flirt regardless of who it is or the way you are doing it...

Depends on the religion, I would guess. Catholics have a sin lumping all kinds of stuff together as "impure thoughts." So, from that perspective, it is not only a sin in and of itself, but it entices others to sin as well.

Depends on who's doing the flirting and how it's being done.

No but it's a step in the wrong direction if you or the person that you are flirting with are married...

Define Flirting.

If you are married and you engage in any behavior that conjures up ideas of a sexual relationship with anyone other than your spouse then that is sin.

The same would apply if you are not married.

If you are unmarried, why not just get to know the person on a wholesome level if you find that person attractive or interesting.

If you are married, flirt with your spouse.

According to christian doctrine, it is a sin to flirt with reason and independent thought.

Depends. It probably could be a minor sin depending on what you're doing and why. But in most cases I wouldn't think so.

If you're religious, it's a sin to do ANYTHING!

It's wrong if you're flirting with somebody but you're with somebody already.
