If you would read Hebrews Chapter 11, I'm not sure that the word "normal" is in the Bible, yet Hebrews 11 states of the faithful "Of whom the world was not worthy." God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.
Apostle Paul tells us in 1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
All of us are different; yet God has use for all of us and we all have different gifts.
Timothy exhorts us: 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Study is a verb. I am an imperfect Christian who humbly wonders just what I am actually capable of, but God has plans for all of us: Jer 29: 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
And, of course, we are told we can accomplish ALL THINGS through Christ.
We are told that Christ is returning for a Bride without spot or blemish, yet perfect people don't exist and never will. (Until Christ's return).
I believe that the end times church will accomplish more than the original established church simply because there are more of us, and we have technology to preach the Gospel.
For example: I do not mean to be blaphemeous or insult anyone, but couldn't it be reasonably argued that Billy Graham has preached the Gospel to more people than anyone else in the history of the world, mostly due to television and radio?

You bet he is. Yet there is an important part that we Christians forget to consider when thinking about the greater works then Jesus part. We forget that one of the goals of Jesus was to make a united Church. One that worked together to obtain the great commission of our Lord. This only comes by learning the love of God expressed so eloquently by Paul in his letter to the Corinthians. At this point we are not walking in this love described in chapter 13. Instead when our brothers offend us we just change churches and run away from the hurt. In order for the Church to obtain the greatest of these "love", we must learn how to stand with our brethren no matter what the offenses are.
Then we will see true motivations that are not self serving but that are motivated by the true love of God. This I believe is the greatest work that Jesus was speaking, because as a man he could only love those he knew. Now as God in Heaven he can send "his love" to us through each other and not only to us, but to the world in the form of healing the sick, visiting the prisoners, helping the widows and orphans, feeding the hungary. This is great love and as Paul says through the inspiration of the Spirit, "the greatest of these is LOVE."

If God says He is the same yesterday, today, and forever then why should we be trying to categorize how we follow Him? I think an attitude of never being content with what we are seeing and always seeking to know and love God more is what is normal Christianity. Getting caught up in His pretty manifestations is a waste and a distraction fromk the Truth that is Christ. Preach Him and His blood at all times and lives will change.

Times have changed as is the natural way of things, and the church certainly has. How else would you explaint he acceptance of divorce and remarriage? but the definition of christianity has beocome "I live in america and go to church once in a while" not "I follow Jesus Christ. He is my Savior" Which is TRUE Christyianity. That is a picture of christianity today. people don/t want to give up their lives to Jesus. We are only able to do the great thigns we can because of HIM. Not by our power but HIS. as for the best wine for last... Not really. I jsut think the flavor has changed.

We should be more like Christ, and less like the world. We see people like Joel Olsteen who has captured the people, but why? Because he does not preach on sin, he makes people feel good. When we read the book of Acts we see people like Peter, and Paul who preached on fleeing sin, and being more like Christ. The church is moving forward in the world, but not in Christ. You see churches who let women preach, Christ did not teach that. Homosexuals who preach and run churches, Christ did not teach that as well. The first time people was ever called Christians was in the book of Acts. I know very people now that I would even give that name to.

If you read the Bible you will know what normal Christianity is.
Too much lovey dovey rubbish going on and not enough preaching on repentance and judgement.
That's right don't preach on these 2 touchy subjects because it may upset too many people.
Jesus Christ is coming back for a church ( people ) without spot or blemish.
Are you ready?

Is God saving the best wine for last?
If I am His best wine we're in trouble guys.
So my answer would be NO.
How many of us would be willing to be stoned, beaten, thrown in the lions den or beheaded for our faith? Few and far between I think.
