I think it's important to look at the way that religious people, that are not Mormon, embrace the religion. I find it interesting to hear how they perceive that idea of religion. You may agree with their ideas. I suggest you also do this with any topic that could be debated; such as American history. Take the Vietnam War for instance; the way the United States teaches it is much different then the way Vietnam does. There's two sides to every story.

There is an exmormon group in Yahoo groups. You can also check out postmormon.org, and Mormonnomore.com. If you ever want someone to talk to, email me. Don't expect your fellow mormons on here to be supportive. They will just attack you for publicly questioning the church.

My advice is to NOT be a mormon. Everything the mormon church believes goes against the Holy Bible. WHy would you want to be part of that. For starters.. read Galatians 1:8-9

Sit down and read the BIBLE comparing it to the teaching of the LDS faith. If the LDS faith doesn't add up to what the Bible says discard it. The Bible does say there is no God but God.Also, that if we add to or take away from the Bible we will be taken out of the Book Of Life. Bind together in prayer. Prayer does change things! I'll keep you in my prayers. Also, don't share your doubts w/ TBM, they will tear you down. God gave you a mind to think. If you have doubts, its for good reason. We have the HG not only as the comforter. But it can also to be to warn us of things. I admire your resolve and your strength to question your faith. I know there is a strong teaching to trust and obey. God Bless!

The links don't appear to work, but the poster below me has a good website where I found a lot of information.

Google "what Mormons believe" and the websites I mentioned will come up.
