Take up the yoke of self-education.

Really, if teachers, friends, parents, etc. are not helping you master the material, buckle down and master it all by yourself.

This will mean backtracking until you reach a point where you do understand, then going forward step by step, and anytime you're lost, figuring out what's what before you proceed. This takes dedication.

There was a time when this was the way many self-made men and women were educated. They were given books, and they devoured them, mastering the contents without help.

Another option is trading something you're good at for tutoring. Can you do yard work? Color someone's hair? Go door to door for a school fund-raiser? These are things that a student might trade for tutoring service.

Also, make sure your school counselor knows you're struggling. Sometimes an empty-nest parent or a retiree can be paired up with a student who really needs one-on-one attention and tutoring.

It's good that you're seeing the problem now, because it's not too late to catch up. Who knows, maybe college is in your future?

effort and commitment.
We (as humans) all have basically equal potential in these avatars of our bodies. It's important how we focus and use that potential.
Now the fact of life is that we all have our own set of imperfections, deformities, and other limitations.
Yes, we are all mutants (and that's ok).

Take these steps to your teachers/parents - and this should help.
1. School (to teacher/councilor): "I',m not doing well in school Please give me a battery learning disabaility tests"
in the US, they're required by federal law to evaluate you in 30 days, and provide all accommodating efforts to work around any possible learning disabilities. Each system has psychometrics to do this testing.
2. Parents will probably have to sign/agree for you to get these tests, but that's minimal effort on their part.
3. Find your personality type and learning type. These tests should provide that information. This is important to know -so you can personally tap into resources that fit YOUR learning style - not their "one size fits all" teaching methods.
4. if some physical or psychological disorders are identified, then seek medical assistance to get medication to ease the symptoms, and IN ADDITION seek counciling or physical therapy to to compensate for the limitation.
WARNING: Don't let the doctors bully you and your parents into that "ADD/AD HD" trap without some concrete evidence. It's easy to do, and the medicines will cause a temporary behavioral change. But the doctors gladly do it because of all those pharmaceutical companies that send reps to their office, dole out some samples, and then take the doctor to an "informative dinner" or "weekend medical seminar" at some country club. Doctors do have a vested personal and financial interest in writing perscriptions for the latest drugs

5. Use the on line resources of the internet to help you learn (text to speech, flowcharts/diagrams, videos, etc).

The internet is the equalizer for mankind. Throughout history, only a few had access to education, books, and knowledge, and great efforts were made to keep it that way. But now it's all out there - for all of us to grasp. Good luck

Have you tried talking to the Counselor or Principal at your school? You might try a library. In larger cities they generally have educators there. No matter what don't give up. You show you have a desire to learn. Don't let lazy parents ruin it for you. People can educate themselves by studying.

Check with your school counsellors, city hall, or library.
In Ontario we have Literacy Councils with volunteer helpers.
People with disabilities can get education assistants.
You are to be congratulated for trying to improve yourself.

Does your school assign you a counselor? You could talk to that person and make a plan to improve in the areas where you are struggling.
