My lips have always been dry and chapped since I was a baby, I am now an adult. My lips get dry skin and splits that bleed and I can't get rid of it, even if I can for a week or two it just comes back. I've tried almost every product and chapstick out there. What can I do, it's really starting to get to me. any help would be great, thank you.

Drink a lot of water. Also dry lips is a sign of a sickness, regardless of having it all your life. You can email me if you want more info on sickness & dry lips.
What you can do for is take a wash cloth and put it under hot to warm water, and rub it across your lips to remove the dry skin then take either a cocoa butter stick that is 100% cocoa butter or an vitamin e stick to moisturize afterwards. This should give you some relief.

I have always had the same problem!! My lips split apart and bleed or I can even literally peel the skin off of them and it hurts!! I use just the normal BLISTEX from the blue bottle. NOTHING else seems to work--not even other blistex brands. Also, I use salt on a small towell to exfoliate the dry/cracked skin. (you may need to wait until your sores have healed for a little while though because it will burn!) I find that in the winter there is almost nothing I can do except carry my blistex with me everywhere and re-apply it as often as needed--I'm not sure if this will help your problem for good though, these are just some solutions I use for a quick fix.

What you need to do is when you brush you teeth, brush your lips gently (minus the toothpaste) with the wet brush a few times until they feel noticeably softer.
Then, start using carmex. It's very helpful. If you still have problems after that, Avon has a chapstick called Chap-Aid which is medicated, and it's helpful.

I don't know if you've tried Vaseline. It's really good for chapped lips and it only costs 99p. If you haven't tried it, you should because I think it's about the best thing you can buy!

I read in article that chapped lips is a sign that your body is telling you that you're dehydrated. So try drinking more water, maybe that'll help.
