Brandy and Port, always have some Brandy and Port in the house. If you ever get a bad tummy, ie runs/nausea/stomach cramps, trapped wind pain; then drink an equal measure of brandy and port, not too much, sip slowly like a medication and it works everytime. It's an old family remedy and works like magic! The cheapest brandy and port will do.

Brandy is usually flavored. This is meant to be sipped. I don't think you should mix it with anything. I would get a good brandy though, nothing cheap!

A clean glass. Good brandy should be savoured plain. The same for good whisky, in my opinion. Vodka can be mixed with anything that disguises it's taste.

Keep it simple and go for a brandy sweet, just brandy, ice, and lemon-lime soda.
