i'm warming up soup in a bowl and i don't want to get the microwave all gross. what should i use instead?

Just use a deeper bowl and keep an eye on the soup I don't always use a paper towel and i dont get my microwave in a mess

You can put a plate over it...paper or another kind that's microwave safe. A clean dishtowel if it doesn't get into the soup, or a lid from a glass or plastic container...you may have to clean these when you're done but it beats cleaning the microwave.

A sheet of plain paper should do.

Or a report cover.

Anything flat that will keep splatters off of the microwave!

Saran or Cling Wrap and leave one corner open for steam to escape. After this, go to the Dollar store and buy a plastic cover made especially for microwaves. They are great!

You could use a small flat plate that fits over the bowl. That's what I use when I put Beans and stuff in there. Hope it helped

Put some plastic wrap loosely over the top, or just watch it to make sure nothing splatters, stirring occasionally

paper plate ... any kind of microwavable plate. Or just take the chance and wipe up right afterwards.

You can put a plate on the top of your bowl to cover it up.I do it at work and it helps.
