Judging by the shape, I don't think we should be eating them.
Thanks.

You think that is disgusting... you may also want to know that the FDA allows a small percentage of insect parts and rodent hair in all food....

Though it may sound disgusting, these things and other gross filth the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) calls "natural contaminants" are indeed allowed and present in your food.

These "contaminants" include:
foreign material, (e.g., dirt, hair, excreta, non-invasive insects, machinery mold) to a product. !!!!!

The maximum amount of sawdust allowed in Hot Dogs is 15%. I don't know if that's an old wives tale or not.

What do you mean I didn't answer the question? :)

Aw, heck. They're sterilized. What's the big deal. You do realize you've eaten worse than that any time you ate chili from Wendy's, right?

Well, kosher hot dogs come from the front end of a purebred lab. But the others...well...they come from "iffy" places on mutts....
